DC 2403-01 S. Sherman Gravity Sewer Improvements #15603

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Sherman, Mississippi will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 o’clock A.M. local time on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 to be submitted to the Town Clerk, Sherman Town Hall, 26 W. Lamar Street, Sherman, Mississippi, 38869 for the furnishing of all labor and materials and for the construction of the certain Project designated as the “SOUTH SHERMAN GRAVITY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS”, with Contract Documents and Specifications being on file at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall in Sherman, Mississippi. Electronic bids will be received until the specified date and time via online submission through www.shermanmsbids.com.

Bids are related to the construction of proposed sanitary sewer system improvements along Highway 9 and Magnolia Way for the Town of Sherman. Generally, the project includes the installation of new 8” gravity sanitary sewer pipe, sanitary sewer manholes and related appurtenances to connect to the existing Town of Sherman sanitary sewer system. The improvements will be constructed within existing utility easements and/or MDOT rights-of-way as represented in the Project Drawings. The proposed work to be completed by the contractor shall follow the Contract Documents, including the Project Drawings and Technical Specifications.

The Project shall make provisions for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to provide the improvements as defined in the Proposal document and as represented in the Technical Specifications as set forth in the Contract Documents.

The total Contract Time shall not exceed 90 consecutive calendar days. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1:00 o’clock PM local time on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Sherman Town Hall located at 26 W. Lamar St. in Sherman, Mississippi. The Pre-Bid Meeting will include a discussion of the plans, specifications, program requirements, Contract Documents, etc. The Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory but all suppliers and contractors/bidders are encouraged to attend.
